About the role

Rivach is looking for a Software Engineer who enjoys building complete, dependable products rather than working only within a narrow layer of the stack. You will design software systems, build APIs and application services, work with databases and cloud infrastructure, and collaborate closely with AI, product and design teams. Depending on the problem, you may work across backend, full-stack or platform engineering.

What you'll work on

• Design, build and maintain reliable software used across Rivach products and technology solutions.
• Develop backend services, APIs and integrations.
• Build and improve modern web applications where appropriate.
• Design data models and work with relational and non-relational databases.
• Integrate external platforms, APIs and cloud services.
• Write maintainable, well-tested code and participate in thoughtful code reviews.
• Diagnose production issues and improve system reliability, security and performance.
• Work closely with AI engineers, designers and product stakeholders to take features from idea to production.

What we're looking for

• Strong software engineering and programming fundamentals.
• Professional experience with at least one modern backend or full-stack language such as Python, TypeScript, Java or a comparable language.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs or similar service interfaces.
• Working knowledge of SQL and database design.
• Understanding of testing, version control and modern software development practices.
• Ability to reason about system design, reliability and maintainability.
• Ability to work independently while communicating clearly with a small technical team.

What would make you stand out

• Experience with Python, Node.js, TypeScript or modern frontend frameworks.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP or comparable cloud platforms.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes or infrastructure-as-code tooling.
• Experience with distributed systems, queues, caching or asynchronous processing.
• Experience integrating AI or machine learning capabilities into software products.
• Evidence of building and shipping substantial software projects end to end.
